IfYoureReadingThis.org is one of many great resources available to Georgia Tech students. Below we’ve provided a brief description of a few of these resources, as well as how to access them. While this list is not exhaustive, we hope it is helpful.

Center for Mental Health Care & Resources

At the Center, you can receive crisis intervention, counseling services, and mental health resources. Appointments are made by phone call or walk-in.

STAMPS HEALTH SERVICES PSYCHIATRY CLINIC

This clinic provides general psychiatric services to undergraduate and graduate students and their spouses. This includes thorough psychiatric evaluations and medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and other mental health issues.

LGBTQIA RESOURCE CENTER

The LGBTQIA Resource Center supports the Institute's commitment to inclusive excellence by engaging the campus community in education, advocacy, and outreach for people of all genders and sexual identities.

STUDENT TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES (STAR)

STAR provides stability for students to pursue a fulfilling college experience. The five points of the star are food, finances, clothing, housing, and connections.

WOMEN’S RESOURCE CENTER

The Georgia Tech Women’s Resource Center advances gender equity across identities by cultivating opportunities for community building, transformative learning, collaborative leadership, and identity development for graduate and undergraduate women.

Peer Coaching

The PCP trains Tech students to provide one-on-one support and education to their GT peers and offers Peer Coaches ongoing supervision in the provision of these services. Students serving as Peer Coaches are trained paraprofessionals who assist consultees in identifying and accomplishing specific academic, social or other personal goals related to concerns commonly faced in college.

“LET’S TALK”

“Let’s Talk” is a program that provides easy access to informal confidential consultations with Georgia Tech counselors. Counselors hold walk-in hours at various sites across campus throughout the week.

Tech ends suicide together

Tech Ends Suicide Together represents both an aspirational goal and a call to action to create a campus-wide linkage of programs and support that work together to end suicide at Georgia Tech.

Collegiate recovery program

The CPR provides support and a safe environment to help Tech students achieve growth and success in their recovery and academic journey.
