If you’re reading this, you have a place in this world.
To the Villanova community: I want you to know that you are not alone. I know those words can feel empty sometimes, like they don’t really reach the place inside you that aches. But I mean it, there are people in this world who care about you, even on the days you feel invisible.
I don’t know what you’re going through right now, but I do know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, to carry a weight so heavy it seems like no one else can see it. I know how easy it is to believe that no one would understand, that maybe you’re too much, or not enough, or just stuck in between. But you are not too much. You are not broken. You are not alone.
Even if today is hard, you made it to this moment. You are still here, still breathing, still trying. That is enough. That is worth something. And no matter what your mind tells you, the world is better with you in it.
Please hold on. Even if it’s just for today. Even if it’s just for this moment. Because there is more waiting for you, more laughter, more love, more nights where you can finally breathe without the weight of the world pressing down. And you deserve to see it.
I believe in you, and I hope, even if just for a second, you can believe in yourself too.
With love,
Someone who cares
