If you’re reading this, it’s hard to accept that things get better when they feel like they aren’t.

It’s hard to resonate with the positivity of others who may not understand what you’re going through. To feel misunderstood or out of reach of help is one of the worst feelings in the world, but one of the best feelings is getting a huge weight off of your shoulder and it’s only one action away.

Sometimes, we’re not bold enough to ask for help outright, but if you put out the energy of love, it’ll come right back to you. So, if words aren’t helping your situation and you feel as if there’s nothing no one can do to help you, I encourage you to show love to something throughout your day.

Water a plant that may look thirsty, safely pet an animal that may seem sad, leave a dollar for a kid to find — these are acts of love that cannot be misunderstood. And eventually, this love will come back to you.

The world will see that you’re trying and reward you with that same type of loving, much like how you’ve done for it. Love is the strongest energy, and it’s one of the first and most powerful steps to moving forward.
