If you’re reading this, stay strong and hopeful.

My journey with mental health has been filled with a lot of ups and downs. From losing my mother at a young age and being forced to grow up way sooner than anticipated, to being an active member of the armed forces and being around such a strenuous and harsh environment; it's easy to say that in this path of life I was given, I have had my fair share of mental struggles.

I would constantly have more questions than answers and more confusion than confidence. I found myself in a dark place. Eventually, I realized that it was time for a change. I sought help and found resources, and slowly but surely I started attaining mental sovereignty.

I want people to understand that as dim as it may seem there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope others take away the message that it’s okay to ask for help and that healing is a process that takes time. Everyone’s journey is unique, but connection and understanding can make a significant difference.
