There are very few places in the world where people of all backgrounds can unite in the face of adversity, an ever-changing world, and the everyday struggles that seem to increasingly pit people against each other. Clemson University is one of those places that unites us. The Greek community has been blessed with the opportunity to be part of this campus and all of its storied traditions. We want to extend our gratitude to you for helping to make this place so special.
From our homecoming week floats, the First Friday Parade, to Tigerama skits, you have welcomed us with open arms on this campus and made Clemson a place where our community can truly thrive. Because of you, we have been able to take part in some of the most exciting traditions at this school and we have been able to feel the energy of school spirit run through our 2000+ members.
You are the reason that we can have philanthropy events, you are the reason that we have the opportunity to have Greek housing on campus, you are the reason that we recently were able to fully open our arms to the ClemsonLIFE program. You are the reason that our community is here and is strong as it is. We are forever grateful to you for that.
As our terms on the Interfraternity Council reach their sunset here at Clemson, we have the opportunity to reflect about how great this university is, and everything that it has given to us. We encourage you to do the same and be grateful for everything that the Clemson family has given to you. The four years we have here fly by, so stay in the moment, look around, and appreciate everything and everyone. When you reach your future careers and your time here seems distant, you will carry on the memories you made here forever. We encourage you to make your memories at this special place with the same appreciation that we share for this community. The story of Clemson is a very special one, and we couldn’t be happier to be part of it.
