If you’re reading this, remember you are not alone.
The following letter is a series of compiled messages from the UW-Madison chapter.

If you're reading this, please remember the importance of prioritizing your own well-being. In our shared journey, it's all too easy to overlook self-care. We often feel a personal responsibility to remedy every problem, but that's an enormous burden for any one of us to carry. In times of turmoil, it’s important to remember to take stock of how you’re feeling and how much you have to give to yourself and the community.

If you're reading this, understand that life is a personal journey, not a race. Your progress, no matter how slow it may seem, is worth celebrating. It's easy to compare your timeline to others but remember that your unique path is filled with achievements and growth. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a testament to your resilience. Cherish your progress; it's a reflection of your strength and determination.

If you're reading this, remember that it's absolutely okay to be yourself, even if it feels like you don't quite fit the mold. Your identity is a beautiful blend of experiences, and it's meant to be diverse. Celebrate the richness of your uniqueness, for it's in these differences that you find your true strength. Society's expectations don't define you, and you can be unapologetically yourself. Your individuality is a gift that deserves to be celebrated and cherished.

If you're reading this, know that there are kindred spirits who understand your struggles. You're not alone in your journey. Sometimes, the weight of life can be easier to bear when shared with others. Don't hesitate to reach out to those who've walked a similar path. Sharing your experiences and lending a listening ear can create a sense of community and belonging, reminding you that your story is connected to countless others.

If you're reading this, remember that self-compassion is your greatest ally. Life can be heavy, and it's easy to be hard on yourself. In those moments, take a step back and acknowledge that it's okay not to be perfect. Treat yourself with the same kindness you offer to others. Embrace your humanity, and allow self-compassion to lighten the load. You're deserving of love, even when you're feeling overwhelmed.

If you're reading this, understand the power of self-expression. Your voice, thoughts, and feelings are unique, and they matter. Speak your truth and let your voice resonate with authenticity. Silence can be heavy, so let your words carry the weight of your experiences and aspirations. Your voice can create connections, inspire change, and empower both yourself and others.

If you're reading this, remember that life is full of unpredictability, and that's perfectly normal. Embrace the unknown, for it's in the uncertainty that you'll discover your resilience. Rather than fearing what you can't control, focus on adapting and growing. Life's twists and turns are opportunities for self-discovery and personal growth. Your ability to navigate the unpredictable is a testament to your strength.
